Worship the Lord who is about to do a new thing. Praise God who establishes God’s reign in the heart of God’s people. God will dwell with God’s people forevermore. A new heaven and a new earth! The old, bruised and angered, fearful and alienated, will pass away. In its place God offers new hope and peace.
The Berkeley Neighborhood Food Project’s next Harvest Day is Saturday, June 8. We want to bring all of the church’s contributions together on Sunday, June 2, so we can give thanks together, and pray for all the hungry folks in our community. So before you head out the door next Sunday, be sure to grab that green bag full of food and bring it with you – and bring it with you into worship! If you are interested in helping on Harvest Day, please contact Pantry Director Dharma Galang.
Quaker Christianity 101: What does it mean for us to be Friends of Jesus? This spring, Berkeley Friends Church will be exploring the basics of Christianity – the stories of the Bible, the power of the gospel, and the life of community in Jesus. We hope you’ll join us for the following sessions, on Sundays from 12:30-2:00pm in the Fellowship Hall: 6/2 – “Letting Our Light Shine”

Veneita Porter is walking in the San Francisco Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk for suicide prevention on June 8. If you would like to join her, she is looking for other walkers.
