THIS SUNDAY (April 29 [corrected]) Berkeley Crop Hunger Walk will begin with a rally and registration at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalen (located at 2005 Berryman St.) All money raised will go to the Berkeley Food Pantry, Church World Service (CWS), Youth Spirit Artworks, Dorothy Day House and YEAH! Youth Engagement Advocacy, and Housing. You may walk with the team Berkeley Quakers and if you have any further questions please see Dharma, team captain.
Save the date! On Saturday, May 12, we will have a Potluck lunch and Going Away Party from 12 noon to 12:45 PM for Rebecca Baier and Chad Ropp as they head east.

The Ministry and Counsel Committee invites you to meet Micah Bales and Faith Kelley of Washington, D. C., and their son Francis (8 months) when they visit Berkeley May 18-20. Their visit will be part of their discernment process and conversation with M&C concerning a half-time pastor position at BFC. Micah and Faith work as a pastor team and currently worship with the Washington City Church of the Brethren, though both of them are birthright Quakers.
M&C will organize lunch and dinner meetings open to all on Sat. May 19 so that everyone will have an opportunity to talk with them. Micah will preach on Sunday (May 20).
