Quaker Heritage Day is an annual event sponsored by Berkeley Friends Church that focuses on some aspect of Quaker faith, spirituality, and/or history.

Topic: Quakers and the Eco-Reformation

Speaker: Cherice Bock

 


Cherice Bock is co-clerk of the newly formed Sierra Cascades Yearly Meeting of Friends.  She teaches in the Creation Care Program at Portland Seminary, and is pursuing a PhD in environmental studies.  A lifelong Quaker, Bock sees environmental concerns as one of this generation’s most important social justice issues.  Visit her website at www.chericebock.com.

Program is free and open to all. Suggested donation: $25 with lunch; $20 without.
Donations are welcome, gratefully accepted, and support our annual Quaker Heritage Day event. Payment will be collected at the event. Make checks out to Berkeley Friends Church and put “QHD” in the memo line.
