Partnerships

One of the ways in which we seek to extend God’s Peaceful Reign on earth is by partnering with other organizations. Although as a small fellowship we sometimes feel limited by what we can do, working with others greatly expands the possibilities. Our most significant partnerships involve sharing the physical space of our meetinghouse as we further common social or spiritual aims.

We host and participate in the work of:

  • The Berkeley Food Pantry, which provides emergency food assistance to Berkeley and Albany residents three afternoons per week, and the Berkeley Neighborhood Food Project, which collects community food donations every other month for the Pantry
  • The Christian Friends Conference, Western Region, meeting at BFC three or four times a year for waiting worship in Jesus’ name, Bible reading, fellowship and learning
  • The Bay Bridge Council of the Alternatives to Violence Project, meeting monthly
