Quaker Heritage Day is an annual event sponsored by Berkeley Friends Church that focuses on some aspect of Quaker faith, spirituality, and/or history.
Announcing Quaker Heritage Day 2017!

Speaker: Marcelle Martin
Marcelle Martin is the author of the recently-published Our Life is Love, about ten elements of the Quaker spiritual journey. She was the Mullen Writing Fellow at Earlham School of Religion while working on this book. Earlier, she participated in the Fairhill Friends Ministry in Philadelphia’s inner city, and for four years served as the resident Quaker Studies Teacher at Pendle Hill. Since 1997 she has traveled across the country to lead workshops and retreats related to prayer, discernment, spiritual experience, early Quakers, faithfulness, and ministry. A member of Swarthmore Meeting, she lives in Chester, PA with her husband, Terry.

Program is free and open to all. Suggested donation: $25 with lunch; $20 without.
Donations are welcome, gratefully accepted, and support our annual Quaker Heritage Day event. Payment will be collected at the event. Make checks out to Berkeley Friends Church and put “QHD” in the memo line.
