Get to Know Us: A Special Event to Explore Quaker Faith and Practice
Been wondering about what Quakers are and what we do? Looking for some quiet and peace in your life? Looking for a religious space focused on an experience of God’s Spirit?
This Sunday we will extend a special welcome to new explorers.
During worship we will have a talk about what Quakers believe about God, our world and our role as people who follow Jesus. We will teach how to participate in silent worship and have some time to practice this unique Quaker way of listening for God’s voice. During our coffee hour, visitors are invited to sit with some of our pastors and leaders to chat about faith and ask any questions.
Children are invited to join us for part of worship and then will have a special lesson of their own downstairs with our children’s staff.
