Free Ben Lomond Quaker Center workshops are available through the church’s membership subscription. A complete list for the year is on the table in the back. Family Work Camp from July 29-August 3 is a camp for all ages! Build community while constructing, repairing, prepping, painting, cooking, cleaning. Deepen community by worshipping, playing, hiking, singing, chatting. If interested in this or any other workshop on the list, please let John Maurer or Faith Kelley know ASAP.
Faith Talk for Families with Kids
1 Samuel 8:1-10:25: “Saul become king”
Here are some ways to nurture faith at home based on this week’s story. (1) Read 1 Samuel 10:1-2. How do you think Saul felt when he heard Samuels message? (2) Saul started his journey looking for donkeys and became king instead. When have your plans changed in a big way/ (3) Draw three of Saul’s donkeys and add speech bubbles. Write what the donkeys might say if they could talk. Did you know? Donkeys were important to Saul’s family. What is A female donkey called? <jenny>
