This weekend @ BFC: Movie

Dear all:

It’s a full weekend at Berkeley Friends Church–please don’t forget about these events:

1) Tomorrow, Friday, 10/25, is our monthly Movie Night! This last presentation of 2013 is Sarah’s Key, a drama that offers an unusual angle on the Holocaust. This fictional film explores the reverberations of one extraordinary young girl’s story for her descendents and for those whose lives intersected with hers. A tale of heartbreak and hope, starring Kristen Scott Thomas. See attached flyer for more info.

It’s FREE! Doors open at 6:30 PM, film at 7, discussion following film. Please join us, and don’t forget to pick up a copy of the 2014 schedule–remember, we take November and December off, and resume in January 2014.

2) On Saturday, 10/26, the Knit & Crochet Fellowship will meet at 11 AM in the felowship hall. Come see what everyone’s working on,  share your latest project, or learn what you need to start a new one!

3) On Sunday morning, 10/27, we will gather for Sunday School for children and adults at 10 AM. In meeting for worship at 11 AM, we will sing and pray together, hear a spoken message, and listen in quiet for the message imparted by the Living Christ. Fellowship time follows worship, and then the Peace, Environment and Christian Social Concerns Committee meets at 1 PM.

Fellowship, discussion, sharing, learning, worship–come join us at Berkeley Friends Church!
